Metrohm’s modern software for ion analysis

Tiamo is a control and database software for titrators, dosing devices, and sample changers that allows complete laboratory automation—which is how Tiamo got its name: titration and more. But Tiamo can do more than just titrate! With Tiamo, Metrohm now offers a global software product for laboratory automation. This means that an international corporation can now use the same software platform in all of its labs all over the world for processing titration samples and sharing data, thereby increasing productivity.

Tiamo’s modern interface makes it easy for users to get up to speed quickly—all command and control functions are located where users would expect them. The Tiamo bar on the left-hand side of the screen allows access to the four basic Tiamo workspaces: configuration, method, workplace, and database. Any menu commands or buttons are visible or hidden, depending on the user’s access rights.

The display for the basic Tiamo workspaces can be individually adjusted for each user with the aid of the new Layout Manager™. This means that each user can only see the windows or buttons necessary for his or her work, minimizing user-training time.
