Two-component reagents for volumetric titrations

Components are separated out into titrants and solvents, resulting in virtually unlimited shelf life and a faster titration.

New “E-type” volumetric reagents

E-reagents significantly reduce the use of methanol and halogenated hydrocarbons. They are available as either: a two-component system, which consist of Titrant 5 E and Solvent E; or a one-component system in which the titrant is a normal composite reagent, and CompoSolver replaces the methanol solvent in the vessel. E-reagents must be used in conjunction with liquid standards, and they work best with liquid samples. They are suitable for use with some long-chained hydrocarbons and some ketones.
