The 841 KF Titrando works with Metrohm’s Dosinos^®, which are ideal for handling KF reagents. The Dosino is a highly accurate dosing device with a top-to-bottom design that keeps air bubbles at the top of the buret—away from reagent lines—so they don’t affect titration results. The design of the Dosino buret and stopcock minimizes crystallization. If Titrando will not be used for several days or more, use the “empty” feature to empty the reagent in the buret and tubing back into the reagent bottle. Not only does this prevent KF reagent crystallization, it also saves you the expense of purchasing more reagent for your next titration. When you are ready to use the system again, the “prep” feature will prime the reagent lines automatically.

The Smart Chip™ in each Dosino’s buret memorizes your reagent information such as concentration, standardization value and history. That means every time you connect a buret to the system, Titrando immediately and automatically knows the identity and concentration of the reagent. And with the sophisticated Dosino, automatic reagent exchange of the solvent in the Karl Fischer vessel is now possible for volumetric KF titration.
