| Metrohm® 765 Dosimat
The Metrohm 765 Dosimat,
originally designed for titration dispensing, can be used just as easily for dosing, dispensing and
diluting during sample and standard preparations.
The keyboard and the stepless manual setting of the dispensing rate allow dispensing rates to be
performed very quickly or very slowly, depending on the sample properties. With pulse-free piston
systems, the 765 Dosimat provides the ability to dispense or dilute very small volume increments accurately
and reliably. Its large backlit display shows the volume with a resolution of 0.001 ml, and results
can be calculated using a built-in formula.
The 765 Dosimat plays the role of an “electronic dropping funnel” in a wide range of
applications, such as:
- Pulse-free dispensing of corrosive liquids with rates between 0.001 ml/min and 150 ml/min
- pH- or temperature-controlled dispensing together with the 781 pH/ISE Meter
- Continuous tandem dispensing is possible (maximum dispensing rate 7.6 l/h) with two 765 Dosimats
The 765 Dosimat is equipped with the PIP, DIL and DIS modes. Optional pipetting equipment allows
pipetting, diluting and dispensing to be performed rationally with volumes between 0.7 ml and 10 ml.
Preparation of standard solutions
The 765 Dosimat can be combined with a balance for automatic preparation of standard solutions: Simply
weigh out the approximate amount of the substance to be dissolved and transfer the weight to the Dosimat,
which then calculates the amount of solvent needed and dispenses it.
A wealth of expansion possibilities
The 765 Dosimat comes standard with an RS-232C data interface, which can be used for connecting a
balance, a printer or a computer. Via a computer, all functions of the 765 Dosimat can be remotely
controlled. Every parameter can be set and recalled together with the dispensed volume and
The 765 Dosimat is also available with an analog output, e.g., for the plotting of the dispensed
volume against time in pH stat work (option). Via the external dispenser contact, dispensing can be
controlled by means of a push-button cable or a TTL signal. |
