Synthesis 1 for Solid Phase Synthesis
General
Advantages
For chemical reactions and processes by immobilization of the material with a resin. Synthesis
1 allows for adding samples, splitting off from the resin, filtration of by-products and purification
of the product.
Operational advantages
- Exceptional visual control of reaction due to circular design of reaction block
- Quick and easy access to all samples due to revolving reaction block
- Simple dismantling of reaction vessels
- Reaction vessels feature valves and eliminate the use of needles
- Reaction vessel screw fittings allow access for cleaning and filter replacement
- Washing and recovery of product through vacuum filtration
- All reaction vessels feature bottom valves for draining of washing solvent and for product collection
- Central connection and distributor for vacuum and inert atmosphere
Interchangeable reaction blocks
- Choose 3 different reaction blocks for different sample volumes and quantities:
- Solid 16 for 16 reaction vessels, 42 ml each
- Solid 20 for 20 reaction vessels, 25 ml each
- Solid 24 for 24 reaction vessels, 8 ml each
- Setting of 4 different reaction temperatures due to 4 heating zones with individual heat control
- Additional condensation zone allows for refluxing of solvents; optional chiller required
- Superior heat transfer from reaction block to sample
- Additional samples can be added via septa
Reaction vessels for solid phase synthesis
- Transparent reaction vessels allow clear visibility of samples
- Exceptional chemical resistance due to PTFE & PFA material
- Resin will not stick to inner side of reaction vessel
- Bottom part of reaction vessel accommodates filter, valve and tubing connection to Waste Cube
- Upper part of reaction vessel accommodates septa and tubing connection for evacuation and inert
atmosphere
- Vessel design ensures optimal septa fixing
- Reaction vessel screw fittings allow easy access for cleaning and filter replacement
- PTFE coating of septa gives acid resistance
Waste
Cube
- Suction device to collect washing solvents in a vessel
- After synthesis process the product will be recovered by vacuum and collected in test tubes
- Clear visibility at all times due to transparent glass door
Note
Samples and resins in required pore size can be bought from a local specialized chemical supplier. |
