Heidolph® Synthesis 1 for Liquid Phase Synthesis

General Advantages

Best for chemical reactions and processes without the use of resins. Synthesis 1 allows for set up and work up of a classical chemical synthesis.

Operational advantages

  • Exceptional visual control of reaction due to circular design of reaction block
  • Quick and easy access to all samples due to revolving reaction block
  • No counter contamination due to separate caps on all reaction vessels
  • Easy handling of conventional glass reaction vessels with standard threads
  • Base unit can be upgraded to a multiple evaporator by attaching the glassware set Synthesis 1
  • Central connection and distributor for vacuum and inert atmosphere

Interchangeable reaction blocks

  • Choose 3 different reaction blocks for different sample volumes and quantities:
    • Liquid 12 for 12 reaction vessels, 50 ml each
    • Liquid 16 for 16 reaction vessels, 25 ml each
    • Liquid 24 for 24 reaction vessels, 10 ml each
  • Setting of 4 different reaction temperatures due to 4 heating zones with individual heat control
  • Additional condensation zone allows for refluxing of solvents; optional chiller required
  • Vacuum can be controlled individually due to valves in the upper part of reaction vessel
  • Additional samples can be added via septa

Reaction vessels for liquid phase synthesis

  • Transparent reaction vessels allow clear visibility of samples
  • Exceptional chemical resistance due to materials used: reaction vessels made of glass; caps made of PTFE
  • Glass reaction vessels come with standard threads
  • Reaction vessels can be closed with conventional screw caps
  • PTFE cap accommodates septa, valve and connection for vacuum or inert atmosphere
  • Vessel design ensures optimal septa fixing
  • PTFE coating of septa allows acid resistance
