Generators
POLYTRON handheld generators work via the Rotor/Stator
System, in which samples are drawn into the center of the generator tip.
Here, the sample is vigorously mixed, accelerated, and pressed through
the narrow gap between the rotor and stator and finally forced out between
the teeth of the stator. Each high quality, handheld Homogenizer generator
comes standard as EasyCare (EC designation) for thorough cleaning. In
addition, the generators have saw-teeth to facilitate processing and foam
reducing features to reduce air intake.

Product features
- Rotors and stators are cut from a solid
block of 316L stainless steel resulting in a stronger, thicker-walled
stator tube that extends generator life and prevents deformation
- Meticulously controlled tolerances ensure
the smallest, most uniform rotor-stator gap for maximum shear
force and reproducible particle yield
- "Quick-connect" Generators connect
easily for quick changes
- EasyCare®
Generators disassemble for cleaning, maintenance, and sterilizationideal
when cross-contamination is a concern and cleaning is necessary
POLYTRON benchtop generators work via the Rotor/Stator System.
Samples are drawn into the center of the generator tip where they
are vigorously mixed, accelerated, and pressed through the narrow
gap between the rotor and stator and finally forced out between
the teeth of the stator. Some POLYTRON generators are available
with options for specific requirements. |
