The most advanced evaporator in its class. With the LABOROTA 4002 Control with hand lift or the LABOROTA 4003 Control with motor lift, your work has never been easier. You can set the required bath temperature, vapor temperature and vacuum with the user-friendly digital control panel; start the rotation, vacuum control and process timer all together with just one press of a button; and set and program the nine most common applications used into memory. The unique process timer allows for unattended operations— easy and hassle-free!

Includes all standard LABOROTA 4000 series features plus:

• P_(const) (Function or Program) holds vacuum constant throughout the entire distillation at a specific vacuum setting with the press of a button for known and routine distillations
• T_(auto) (Function or Program) stops the distillation at a variable minimum pressure by detecting the vapor temperature front of the solvent as it reaches the condenser via a thermocouple relay to the controller. This program allows for the setting of pressure ramps for gradient distillation of binary/tertiary solvent mixtures, common in postchromatography evaporation scenarios, by bringing the evaporation to total dryness one solvent at a time. The program also stops the application upon completion of the distillation or reaching the minimum set vacuum threshold.
• P_(auto) (Function or Program) automatically finds the required vacuum pressure and holds that level constant when used in combination with the T_(auto) vapor temperature sensor based on vapor temperature/pressure differentiation (it will bring distillation to dryness if it is a one-solvent distillation). This program does not stop automatically after the distillation is completed.
• Digital display of rotation speed, vapor temperature and bath temperature
• Safety bath temperature backup system with additional control (dial on bath on Models 4002/4003 only sets the overtemperature limit, not the actual bath temperature)
• Heating bath for water and oil, 20°C to 180°C, with accuracy of ± 1°C
• Evaporation process may be stopped with the press of a single button without opening the vacuum valve
• Attachment for optional vacuum valve or Woulff Bottle
• Required accessories for use with the Valve control pump or a house vacuum source: VAC senso T (Catalog number 036302890) and Vacuum valve (Catalog number 036302930)
