Heidolph® LABOROTA Collegiate® evaporators

Collegiate rotary evaporators with analog control, manual lift and water heating bath for water with temperatures up to 100ºC are ideal for basic standard distillation applications performed in educational and university research labs.

The Collegiate series from Brinkmann/Heidolph has been designed with the cost-conscious researcher in mind. With all the basic features required for routine and common distillations, the Collegiate series delivers the best value in benchtop rotary evaporation.

As your research and applications requirements evolve, so can your Collegiate evaporator. Its modular design allows you to upgrade easily while adding on the optional vacuum valve and Woulff Bottle for more precise and accurate vacuum control. Product features

Includes all standard LABOROTA 4000 series features plus:

  • Manual lift for raising and lowering the evaporation flask from the heating bath
  • Convenient, large dial control for adjustment of rotation speed (rpm) and heating bath temperature
  • Rotation speed from 20 rpm to 270 rpm
  • Stainless steel water bath
    • Water bath with temperature range from 30°C to 100°C
    • Bath diameter of 240 mm, with total working volume of 4.3 L
    • Bath features non-slip handles for safe and easy transport Heating bath is constructed of an insulated double wall for protection against burns
  • Available with the following condenser sets:
    • G1 diagonal condenser, for standard distillations
    • G3 vertical condenser, for standard distillations and space-saving requirements
    • G5 cold trap, for low-boiling solvent distillations
  • Condenser set includes one 1,000 ml evaporating flask (STJ 24/40) and one 1,000 ml receiving flask (all condenser sets are available with optional plastic safety coating)
