With the LABOROTA 20 series of large-scale evaporators, Heidolph offers a complete range of evaporation solutions to meet most any distillation requirements. For large-scale distillation of any solvent or mixture, the LABOROTA 20 series provides the perfect tool for basic solvent purification, recovery and scale-up.

The LABOROTA 20 series has been designed to incorporate all leading safety features, giving you trust not only in the product and the results of the distillation but also in the safety and well-being of the laboratory and of your sample. In addition, the LABOROTA 20 series is available with a wide range of options, including 10 different condenser configurations from which to choose, water and oil baths for various heat load requirements, integrated vacuum controllers and a host of other exclusive features that offer the benefit of the most efficient distillations and the highest recovery rates.

• Separate, bright digital displays show the rotation speed, bath temperature, vacuum pressure, and coolant and vapor temperature
• Integrated vacuum and temperature controller, features individually programmable ramps for all parameters, allowing for optimal distillation settings
• Built-in process timer allows for unattended distillations, resulting in greater throughput
• Emergency stop button automatically lowers bath, stops rotation, breaks vacuum and turns off the bath heater
• Delivered complete with vacuum sensor and vacuum valve
• Standard RS-232C interface to program or monitor your distillation process
• Evaporation flask and bath:
  • Included self-filling water bath system takes the worry out of running dry
  • Water level regulation system in bath avoids water from spilling over
  • Choice of water bath for low-boiling solvents, for bath temperatures up to 100°C, or oil bath, with temperatures up to 180°C, for high boiling point solvents and more demanding distillations
  • Delivered complete with 20 L evaporating flask (optional 6 L and 10 L flasks also available)
  • Powder drying flasks available upon request

  • Receiving flasks feature reinforced bottom drain valves
  • Delivered complete with the option of one or two receiving flasks
