Heidolph® 20 control—automatic
Designed for unattended distillations, especially for the most demanding production
and scale-up requirements!
With the unique LABOROTA 20 control automatic, solvents or samples intended for distillation
are automatically delivered into the evaporating flask via an intricate and highly accurate sensor
system that detects the need for replenishing the evaporating flask. Throughout the distillation,
the condensate is automatically drained off to any receptacle, carboy drum or vessel of choice. Upon
completion of the distillation, and once the distillate has been collected, the LABOROTA control 20
automatic completely shuts down and prepares itself for your next application.
In addition, the self-filling, digitally controlled heating bath allows for use over
an unlimited time, including evenings and weekends, so there’s no need to worry about manually
replenishing the bath liquid either—the LABOROTA 20 control automatic does that, too!

Large-scale distillation with LABOROTA 0 Control—Automatic is as easy as 1-2-3!
1. Automatic product charging
- Drive head features intricate and highly accurate weight sensor, which automatically refills
the evaporation flask according to the amount of solvent distilled off
- User can set adjustable max. and min. filling levels of evaporation flask
- Charging and delivery of product to the evaporating flask controlled via vacuum solenoid valve
with the help of the system’s vacuum pressure
- Product sensor detects if sample solvent tank falls dry and cuts off charging
2. Automatic discharge of condensate
- Microprocessor-controlled valve matrix releases a small volume of condensate to the desired solvent
receptacle for collection, storage or disposal
3. End of distillation
- May be accomplished in a series of different manners, selectable by the user:
- Through the use of a built-in timer
- After reaching an adjustable end pressure [only with T (auto) program]
