ESPRIT
Automated surface plasmon resonance and electrochemistry
Designed to measure SPR in two channels simultaneously—one sample channel and one reference
channel—the ESPRIT’s very fast sampling rate allows averaging of many data points per
second, resulting in low-noise measurements and incorporating all interactions at the laser gold interface.
With integrated sample handling, the ESPRIT offers you the ability to work automatically, semiautomatically
or even manually. Two independent syringe pumps for each sample delivery system ensure reproducible
experimental conditions.
Easy-to-use Windows®-based software provides you with all the necessary
controls for both measurement systems, sample handling as well as temperature control to perform measurements
and collect sample data. A wide control of the experimental parameters and the flexibility of designing
automated measurement sequences provide you with the ability to use predesigned methods or custom
design you own procedures.
In addition, kinetic analysis software can be used to automatically determine
- Kinetic rate constants
- Affinity constant
- Thermodynamic parameters
Combining electrochemistry and SPR is very easy for the ESPRIT system. With a special cuvette, electrochemical
measurements can be performed on the gold surface in one channel with regular SPR being performed
in another as a reference.

SPRINGLE
The Autolab SPRINGLE is a entry-level, single-channel surface plasmon resonance instrument. This
low-cost instrument is ideal if you want to get started with interaction measurements, electrochemical
sensors, conducting polymers, electropolymerization, etc.
To enable electrochemical measurements, the Autolab SPRINGLE can be connected to any of our potentiostats/galvanostats.
This instrument is controlled by a powerful data acquisition software. A separate program for kinetic
evaluation is supplied standard, but the generated data can also be exported to other evaluation programs. |
