Lauda® High-temperature Integral XT circulators

New Integral XT high-temperature circulators are ideal for precise temperature control of reactors and closed-circuit systems. They feature a unique control principle that expands the upper and lower temperature ranges for this class of circulators. This also allows for extremely fast temperature changes and highly efficient heating and cooling.

Integral XT circulators are equipped with a wide range of standard operating and safety features. They feature the advanced Command controller, making them a snap to operate.

Safety features

  • Self-check Assistant™ for automatic system maintenance reports of errors displayed on the Command Module control screen
  • Over temperature cut-off shuts down the Integral XT circulators in case of temperatures exceeding the set-point; a safety measure intended to safeguard your sample and applications
  • Pump overload detection prevents damage to the Integral XT pump as well as the application if the system was to be clogged by debris or another blockage
  • Low-level and over-level protection notifies the user prior to the bath liquid reaching a level not suitable for completing the application under optimal conditions
  • Flow control and bath viscosity measurement monitors bath liquid conditions and ensures the optimal flow rate and heat removal conditions from the application

High-power pressure/suction pump.

The Integral XT’s powerful VarioPump can be set to eight different levels to deliver flow rates up to 90 L/min and pressure up to 5.8 bar. More importantly, the VarioPump can be easily programmed to deliver a specified pump pressure that will allow for safe connection to fragile instruments such as glass reactors; discharge pressure is precisely controlled throughout the process.

Fast and easy maintenance.

The Integral XT circulators are filled via a recessed bath liquid filling nozzle on the top end and fitted with drains at the front (for smaller models like the XT 150) and on the side panel (for larger models like the XT 750 H) allowing for easy bath liquid maintenance.

An automatic filling, degassing and draining program provides for safe and easy manipulation of the bath liquid: Just add the bath liquid and the Integral XT circulator automatically degasses the system to ensure the controlled removal of highly volatile compounds or residual air. The emptying program helps to safely and efficiently drain the bath liquid without the use of clumsy tools or tubing.

Convenient handling.

The smaller Integral XT circulators such as Model XT 150 have handles on the sides/front of the circulator and rollers at the bottom rear for easy lifting and moving on benchtops, under countertops, etc. The larger Integral XT models such as Model XT 750 H are fitted with a complete set of four rollers that allow for easy positioning at or nearby your application—next to a reactor, fume hood, etc.

A variety of interface options.

Integral XT circulators can be connected to a variety of peripheral devices. They are equipped with a PT 100 temperature probe connection and two sockets for additional components via Lauda’s internal LiBus; the Command Module display panel is connected to one of the LiBus connections. Optional modules are also available: RS-232/485 interface, analogue module, sub-D contact module, NAMUR contact module, Profibus interface.

Easy operation via the Command Module.

Integral XT circulators are controlled via the patented Command Module, which is also used in well-known Lauda Proline circulators. This Windows®-based controller utilizes drop-down windows and easy-to-navigate menus. All device parameters and results are easily viewed on a single high-resolution graphical display.

The Command Module can be removed from the face of the Integral XT circulator and used as a remote control device via a control cable, which is available in lengths up to 150 feet. The detachable console is equipped with a built-in RS-232/485 interface.
